Steps |
| Windows 2000, XP, or Windows Server 2003 |
- Select File, then select Print.
- Click the Properties button.
- Select the Paper/Quality tab.
- Select the correct document size and paper type.
- Select Force Printer to print from specific tray, then choose the desired tray.
 | Note: Although the option to print to a specific tray is available, in most cases it is recommended to select Let printer select which tray to print from. This will allow the printer to print from any tray that has the specified document size and paper type selected in step 4 above. |

| Windows 98 or Windows Millennium(ME) |
- Select File, then select Print.
- Click the Properties button.
- Select the Setup tab.
- Select Force printer to print from specific tray, then choose the desired tray.
 | Note: Although the option to print to a specific tray is available, in most cases it is recommended to select Let printer select which tray to print from and then select the correct document size and paper type. This will allow the printer to print from any tray that has the specifed document size and paper type. |

- Select File, then select Print.

- Select File, then select Print.
- From the All pages from drop-down menu, select the desired tray.
- Click on the General drop-down menu and select Advanced Options 1.
- Select the correct paper type loaded in the specified from the Paper Types: drop-down menu.

| Mac OS X (10.1 and later) |
- Select File, then select Print.
- Click the Copies and Pages drop-down menu, then select Paper Feed.
- From the All pages from drop-down menu, select the desired tray.
- Click Printer Features from the Paper Feed drop-down menu.
- Select the correct paper type loaded in specified tray from the Paper Types: drop-down menu.
